Growing Our Team

Wrapping up with Agape Flights through victories and tragedy, welcoming Gideon Stone Kling, Jon back in the cockpit, and surprise seats on a flight to scout the house.

Florida

We concluded our time serving Agape Flights at the end of February. We were privileged to walk with that amazing ministry through victories and tragedies. We saw a breakthrough with their city: approval to expand their facilities, which will be huge for their growth and ability to serve the Kingdom.

We were also with them through tragedy: the loss of two pilots and one of their planes on a delivery run in southern Haiti. We were hugely blessed to serve with them and made some forever friends. We look forward to working with them in a different capacity, as we will rely on Agape to keep us supplied when we live in Bombardopolis.

Our team has grown to 8!

We are back home in Missouri with exciting news: Gideon Stone Kling joined the team March 27 at 8:44 am, a healthy 9 lb, 21.75 in boy. Ashley and Gideon are well; we couldn’t have asked for a smoother birth. Can you even believe how cute he is? We’re all obsessed!

Now that our team is at 8, our next step is getting the house in order: passports for everyone, fixing up the house to sell or rent, and continuing to build the support team.

Jon is flying again

Jon has started flying again. He aims to have his private pilot’s license by the time we move, so he can help with flights for the hospital. This is an answer to prayer. We have been praying for provision for flight training since 2013.

We’re headed to Bombardopolis in late May to scout the house we’ll move into. We were blessed with a surprise pair of seats on a flight into the country, and as I write this we’re working on an expedited passport for Gideon.
